Region Jönköping in southern Sweden has a population of 341,000, making it the sixth largest region in Sweden. Our 13 municipalities work collaboratively to lay a solid foundation for personal and business growth. Everyone should be able to enjoy a good living environment.

Every year Region Jönköping recruits around 500 people in the healthcare sector to be able to meet the turnover of personnel. The provision of skills is an important part of our work. The professions where we have the greatest need for recruitment are doctors and nurses, but we also need other professions, primarily in healthcare.

Nurses

When it comes to nurses, we need those with basic registered nurses training and those with specialist training. The areas of specialisation we are particularly interested in are psychiatrics, surgery, intensive care and also anaesthetics. We also have an increased need to recruit more radiology nurses and midwives.

Other functions

In addition to doctors and nurses we also need to recruit biomedical analysts, psychologists and physiotherapists.
