Manager of Engineering – WORLEY SWEDEN

We have an opening for a business minded, development focused and experienced Manager for our Engineering function in our Sweden office.

The future for Worley Sweden is exciting, we are growing with new sustainability projects being secured, new customers coming onboard and now looking for a new Manager of Engineering.

The role:

You will lead a team of four first line managers and a handful of engineering specialists. Together you manage ~100 engineers in our Engineering organization in Kungälv and Stenungsund.

You will be part of the management team in Sweden, report to the General manager, and of course become well connected to the large project engineering community within Worley.

Key Accountabilities:

Leadership

• Be inclusive and inspire people and team to develop
• Build confidence and capacity to deliver what matters
• Maintain and increase the trusted space to challenge and learn
• Build a vision for the future together with the team and ensure the way to reach it

Business Operations

• Collaboration and networking within global Worley engineering community
• Drive the digitalization roadmap for Engineering
• Translate global initiatives into local plans
• Strategic hiring and manning decisions

Business Development

• Support in creating customer proposals.
• Build relationships with customers and future employees
• Secure organizational capability and addressing our customers future requirements

Previous experiences and education:

• Experience to lead leaders
• Have led a multi discipline engineering organization - Piping, Process, Civil, Structure, Electrical/Instruments
• Project execution experience within EPCm/EPC project environment
• Engineering Degree from University
• English (Fluent) – merit to also speak Swedish
