About the role

As a Senior Industrial Designer at Knightec, we entrust you with leading and executing design projects alongside a cross-disciplinary team and our clients. We value your curiosity, strategic thinking, and ability to manage complex projects. Your design approach should be user-centric, informed by a deep understanding of production techniques, materials, branding, and commercial aspects.

Your diverse product experience will be invaluable, as our clients span various sectors, from small startups to large global enterprises. You'll be responsible for defining and adapting project scopes, leveraging a strategic mindset to tailor designs that deliver maximum value for each customer and their business.

Skills needed

• At least 10 years of experience in Industrial or Product Design.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Product Design.
• Proven track record of handling diverse projects across multiple industries.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on fostering positive relationships.
• Solid project management abilities, with a talent for conveying visions and ideas through sketches, illustrations, CAD, and presentations.
• Proficiency in collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients in a professional manner.
• Advanced skills in CAD software such as Rhino, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Expertise in visualization tools like Keyshot or equivalent.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Swedish is preferred.
• Previous experience in Sustainability and Circular Design, as well as Soft goods experience, is advantageous.
