We are looking for a… Senior Frontend Engineers to join our Web Experience team, focused on revolutionizing the world of soundtracking content. As part of this cross-functional team, you'll contribute to building an interactive, fun, and creative soundtracking experience for our users. Job Summary: As a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Web Experience team, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining features that enable users to discover and utilize Epidemic Sound's vast library of music and sound effects. You'll collaborate closely with other teams and departments, working on ongoing and upcoming projects to enhance our product's usability and functionality. A typical day for a Senior Frontend Engineer in the Web Experience team involves: - Collaborate with the team and other departments to understand user needs and design solutions. - Implement frontend features and functionalities using React in Typescript, HTML, and CSS. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our technical architecture and design. - Work on projects aimed at improving the overall user experience, leveraging both traditional and machine learning-powered approaches. - Monitor and maintain frontend systems to ensure reliability and performance. This is a Stockholm-based role, 3+ days in the office. Requirements Must Haves: - Extensive experience with React and Typescript. - Ability to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable web applications. - Experience working in agile cycles with a focus on long-term architectural goals. - Proven track record of guiding team efforts towards a unified technical direction. Nice to Have: - Experience in web accessibility and user event tracking. - Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD). Soft skills: Strong communicator, team-oriented, inclusive, and able to make pragmatic decisions. Willingness to mentor and share knowledge is appreciated.
