Senior Automation Tester & Test Automation Architect

Precio Fishbone is a Swedish IT consulting firm specializing in Microsoft-based solutions, with offices across Sweden as well as London, Ottawa, Copenhagen and Ho Chi Minh City. Founded in 2001, Precio Fishbone has been working with the digital workplace ontop of SharePoint and O365 since 2001.

General overview of the position:

An automation tester is a professional responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to verify and validate software quality. Their primary objective is to ensure that software applications or systems meet the specified requirements, are free from bugs, and function correctly across different scenarios.

Qualifications – Must haves:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.

· 7+ years of dedicated experience in Quality Assurance (QA)

· 5+ years of dedicated experience with web and mobile automating application

· 5+ years Experience with test automation frameworks e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.

· 2+ years Experience in performance testing and tools e.g., Apache Jmeter, etc.

· Understanding of software testing theory and methodologies

· Experience in manual testing across the spectrum of acceptance criteria of the user stories and test cases

· Ability to run User Acceptance and Regression tests from the perspective of the end-users

· Experience in automated functional, API, and UI testing

· Good knowledge of at least one programming language e.g., C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.

· Strong grasp of object-oriented programming concepts (OOPs).

· Experience with software development tools e.g., Visual Studio, Android Studio, etc.

· Experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) Azure Devops and tools e.g., Build Pipelines, Release Pipelines, Agents Pools, etc.

· Experience with setting up testing environments and Docker containers for automated tests

· Ability to troubleshoot and debug test infrastructure (test environments, CI/CD pipeline workflows related to test automation)

· Strong critical and analytical thinking, ability to determine gaps and inconsistencies in product requirements and collaborate with product managers and developers to improve them

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Qualifications – Desirable:

· Fluent in Vietnamese, both written and verbal

· Experience in pennetration testing

· Experience in design automation framework from craft.

· Experience in set up CI/CD for automation test run from craft.

· Deep knowledge in available services on the Azure platform.
