Senior Advisor, Strategic Advisory

Job Purpose: The Senior Advisor is a key figure within 2Secure's Strategic Advisory business unit, responsible for delivering advanced risk management solutions and strategic advisory services to Europe's top-tier companies.

The role demands a high level of expertise in management consulting, operational resilience, business continuity, and risk assessment, guiding clients through complex challenges and enhancing their strategic decision-making processes.

Key responsibilities

Integration with 2Secure's Capabilities

• Lead the integration and enhancement of Strategic Advisory within 2Secure's frameworks.
• Identify and address complex risks and gaps across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement enterprise risk management strategies for large companies.
• Establish and refine risk resilience and crisis preparedness processes.
• Drive internal and external awareness and understanding of 2Secure’s capabilities.

Strategic Risk Management

• Develop and oversee risk mitigation and control activities, ensuring alignment with client’s risk appetite and industry standards.
• Design and update comprehensive incident response plans, crisis management programs, and recovery strategies.
• Implement and manage real-time risk monitoring systems and advanced data visualization tools.
• Cultivate a culture of risk-awareness at client organisations through executive training, leadership engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee project-related tasks such as high-level presentation design and quality assurance.

Client Engagement and Project Leadership

• Lead client engagements, providing expert assessments and analyses.
• Design and implement customised security risk management plans.
• Guide clients in developing policies, building competencies, and maintaining systems.
• Play a pivotal role in strategic discussions with C-level executives and board members.
• Identify business development opportunities and close client deals.

Marketing and Thought Leadership

• Author and publish thought leadership papers on topics critical to CEOs and Board members.
• Lead content creation for the Strategic Advisory and Board Services webpage and social media platforms.
• Represent 2Secure at high-profile events, conveying the company’s strategic advisory vision.
• Drive lead generation through strategic networking and leveraging existing relationships.

Continuous Learning and Leadership

• Stay abreast of and contribute to the latest trends and innovations in corporate risk management.
• Lead professional development initiatives within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Mentor junior team members, enhancing the overall capability of the Strategic Advisory team.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in Business, Risk Management, Security Studies, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in strategic risk management and advisory roles.
• Proven track record in leading complex projects and client engagements.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 31000, and other relevant standards.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.

Risks

This position involves a mix of office-based work and travel. The travel component includes client visits, conferences, and training activities. All travel will be assessed for risk, with employee safety as a top priority.
