Senior 3D Technical Developer

We seek a 3D Technical Developer to join an international company in Älmhult and Malmö, Sweden.

This six-month, 100% remote, full-time consultant position starts in May 2024. Possible to be extended.

Demands onsite: The client´s HQ is based in Älmhult, Sweden, with the option to do remote work full-time on three occasions per year (6 days total); there will be mandatory workshops on-site to set the goals.

What they do

They design and maintain 3D pipelines and tools to enhance content creators in their everyday quest for excellent and efficient 3D communication.

Through their pipelines, they deliver thousands of 3D models, shaders, and images to various outputs, whether that be for real-time applications or offline renderings. While simultaneously identifying the pain points and creating projects to improve what they already have as new values and technology emerge.

What they need

Someone with a passion for 3D and solid Python and back-end development expertise. As a technical developer, you will be part of a scrum team and work on their solutions and hands-on coding in new development and operations. Your responsibilities will be to engage in agile ceremonies and deliver technical solutions within the sprint timeframe.

• Software developer (mid to senior)
• Strong Python competence
• Back-end focus
• Passion and knowledge of 3D
• Software design and architecture experience
• Knowledge of real-time assets and tools
• Skills in USD, MaterialX, 3dsMax, Vray, Blender, C++, Unreal, Unity are meritorious
