Your Responsibilities As process engineer you will be responsible for crucial tasks in the management and operation of the silicon processing line in the cleanroom, which involves the manufacturing of ultralow loss photonic integrated circuits based on silicon nitride. Specific responsibilities include: • Execute small-scale prototype fabrication runs in a cleanroom environment, involving etching, lithography and diverse deposition techniques, as well as associated quality control measures (SEM, etc.) • Support the process engineering team with the establishment of quality control • Realize experimental measurements and document statistics for the certification of the internal processes • Actively engage with customers and external relations The Bigger Picture At Iloomina, we harness the potential of our photonic technology to drive breakthroughs in deep tech applications. Our Expectations • 4-years of industrial experience or PhD in a topic related to nano- or microfabrication, • Hands on experience on cleanroom processes such as lithography, etching, deposition techniques, ellipsometry • Experience with test and measurement equipment for the characterization of photonic integrated components • Fluent in English, spoken and written (Swedish is not a requirement) • Experience with finite element method modeling is a plus • Experience with Python or Matlab is a plus • Excellent communication skills • Collaborative mindset Interested?
