Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team

What You Will Work On:

• Use advanced CAD software to perform CAD activities, including 3D modeling of parts and assemblies at different levels, and 2D drafting for drawings and layouts.
• Apply design principles, guidelines, and applicable standards for electromechanical plant design of HVDC stations, onshore and offshore.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard techniques and procedures to perform station layout design, building requirements inputs to civil designer, installation drawings, and detail design of steel support, connectors, insulators, etc.
• Provide technical support for installation and commissioning activities for HVDC projects under execution.
• Prepare proposals and presentations for engineering projects/programs, including provision of bills of materials and estimated engineering hours.
• Prepare project documentation and effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and contractors to achieve scope of deliveries.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field with 2-6 years of work experience, or
• Another technical degree with 10-15 years of work experience in a relevant field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced high-end CAD software(s) for CAD activities, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting.
• Familiarity with design principles, guidelines, and standards used in electromechanical plant design of HVDC stations, both onshore and offshore.
• Experience in providing technical support for installation and commissioning activities in HVDC projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Working command of the English language.
• Demonstrated ability to ensure adherence to safety standards and mitigate potential risks.
