Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Provide exceptional customer service to remote employees, focusing on their IT needs.
- Represent the IT team in IT Bars and other support channels, ensuring effective communication.
- Manage incoming requests, resolve tickets in Jira, and monitor the IT Slack channel for user assistance.
- Handle back-office tasks related to IT support.
- Maintain and support hardware and software, including printers, meeting room technology, Google Workspace, JAMF, and LDAP.
- Collaborate with global teams to maintain alignment within the IT Support area.
- Update and enhance support documentation continuously.
- Participate in onboarding processes for new employees.
- Assist senior colleagues in preparing and executing vendor engagements.
- Participate in on-call services as required.
- Contribute to IT support improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
- Must have Apple and Google experience.
- Advantageous to have experience with JIRA.
- 1-2 years of experience in a help desk environment.
- Experience in supporting macOS and Windows systems with a customer-focused approach.
- Familiarity with client and software deployment solutions.
- Some experience using Terminal.
- Proficient in English (company language) for effective communication.
- Possess a growth mindset, curiosity, and a fast-learning attitude.
- Patient troubleshooter with the ability to find solutions collaboratively.
- Team player collaborating across locations for problem-solving.
- Alignment with company values and a commitment to living them fully.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Dependable with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and customer support skills, maintaining professionalism.
