About the role

Northmill is looking for a Head of Treasury with previous experience from banking or equivalent regulated business. You will be responsible for Northmill's Treasury team and ensure that the department effectively monitors, analyzes and reports on the capital- and liquidity situation and other financial risks.Lead the Treasury team while at the same time you are hands-on in the operational treasury activities

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing management, analysis and planning of the bank's financial risk and the capital situation
• Ensure effective management of the liquidity portfolio
• Strategically responsible for managing the bank's financial risks when new business initiatives are introduced
• Ensure good quality of internal and external (regulatory) reporting
• Ensure the establishment of the ICLAAP and recovery plan and lead work within the ICLAAP committee's responsibilities
• Present the bank's financial risks and capital situation to the Board and Management
• Always be up-to-date on relevant regulations
• Ensure that the Treasury team manage ongoing ad-hoc analyzes related to financial risks and assist the business with relevant analyzes when necessary
• Act as the main contact with the Central Bank, including ensuring that the Northmill meets all requirements from the Central Bank
• Act as the main point of contact to other banks that Northmill has a business relationship with
• Included in the communication with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority

Qualifications

• A university degree within business/economics, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant work experience from Treasury within the financial sector or equivalent consulting background
• Experience from working in a regulated company
• Experience of working with regulatory reporting, primarily COREP
• Experience working with ICLAAP and capital planning
• Excellent knowledge of relevant regulations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail and actionable conclusions from data
• A strong interest in the financial markets and how they work
