We are now looking for a Game Designer!

Who you are

We're looking for someone who is friendly and helpful, but also hardworking, efficient and dedicated to the game development craft!

• Minimum 3 years experience in the games industry from a similar role;
• Experience scripting game features and behaviour;
• Experience working on game balance in co-op games;
• Experience collaborating in a multinational environment;
• Good collaboration and communication skills with a cooperative attitude;
• Great English communication skills are essential, both written and spoken.

What you'll do

As a Game Designer you will be;

• Scripting and implementing things in the game engine;
• Translating game direction to game design;
• Maintaining game balance;
• Uncover and solve issues with current design implementation;
• Help with conceptual problem solving;
• Discuss and solve design problems;
• Prototype/implement new enemies/weapons/gameplay features;
• Tweak and balance existing enemies, weapons and gameplay.
• Each team member at Arrowhead has an important influence on the game and is involved in the decision-making process.

Practical Information

Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week with initial 6 month probation period.

Location: Office first, hybrid solution possible. You need to be eligble to work in Sweden.

We are a pet friendly office! You can expect to find dogs and occasionally some cats around.
