About the role

We are looking for an front end developer that is independent and is not afraid to meet customers in the field, bringing their needs into. Majority of our customers are located in Sweden, so while you will mostly work from home but also directly at our customers sites to develop in Timezynk for their specific use-cases.You should bepassionate about React, Redux andTypescript. We believe that testable code in afunctional style and with immutable data structurescreates code that is more fun to write, easier to read and simpler to maintain. Our front end stack is built on the latest versions of React, Redux, Typescript and Webpack.

To thrive in this role, you both have a "business mindset" and understands how to create user value from acomplex code base. Getting the customer onboard with custom development projects. You have a product mentality, is motivated by always improving and optimizingthe product, and solve problems by finding the best suitable solutions for our specific platform needs. AtTimezynk, we solve the complex issues of tomorrow by working as a unified team, it is thereby important that youlike to share your knowledge in order to help other team members grow.

Required skills

• Good knowledge with both legacy and modern React
• Strong understanding of custom middleware concept and proficiency with Redux
• HTML/CSS/SCSS/SASS
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with web development
• Node.js
• Immutable.js
• webpack
• Unit/Acceptance/Manual testing with Jest, puppeteer
• Git
• SCRUM/Agile
• Proficient in written and spoken English
• Self-managed

Bonus skills

• Experience in Cordova for iOS and Android.
• Experience withDocker

Working location

Timezynk is a remote company and you will be doing the majority of your work from your own home. Collaboration is a strong focus and we use remote mob and pair programming as well as daily huddles over slack and discord to work together.

Our main market is Sweden and most customers you will meet are located here, therefor you will need a valid work permit in Sweden. For the right candidate Timezynkcan sponsor such a permit.

About 4 times per year we also gather everyone on the team for hackathons, food, fun and games. Between these gatherings we also encourage team members to visit each other and work together on common projects in small groups of 2 or 3.
