EV charger Project Engineer

We are currently looking for a Project Engineer who will work with the newly established standards in our electric vehicle charging team. The role of Project Engineer In the role of Project Engineer for EV chargers, you will work with both practical tests and theoretical investigations to ensure that products meet safety requirements for electrical products according to various product standards. You will work with standards and requirements that are newly established in the market, and the products you test range from residual current device, chargers, cables, connections and AC and DC charging. You will work independently in a project-based work form but be part of a team of both junior and senior engineers where we collaborate to make a real difference together. You will also have the opportunity to visit our customers and test the products on-site, so travel may occur as part of the job. In your daily work, you will, among other things: • Perform electrical safety tests regarding electricity, fire, and mechanics according to applicable product standards in the field of electric vehicle charging such as charging stations, but it may also be for residual current device as well as cables and connections. • Continuously analyze and document your results • Ensure that the products meet international additional requirements • Communicate with Swedish and international customers Who are you? • Technical engineer in electrical engineering, electrical power, or practical experience with work in a similar area • Has experience in some area related to electric vehicle chargers; charging stations, residual current device or cables and connections. • Has worked with testing or verification • Has a good understanding of electricity/electrical engineering and has basic knowledge in electrical schematic reading You think it is important to have good contact with both customers and colleagues and can easily communicate with both Swedish and international contacts. It is advantageous if you: • Have knowledge of electrical safety standards and certification • Have experience with IEC 61851-1, IEC 61439, IEC 62196-2, or IEC 60947-2 • Have experience with ISO 17025 Have we caught your attention?
