Engineering Manager - Analytics Engineering

We are now looking for an Engineering Manager to help us continue to scale up and shape our Analytics Engineering team as a central platform team. How you will make an impact As the Engineering Manager you will guide and develop our Analytics Engineering team and their collaboration with other domains to provide the datasets, tools, and solutions to bring our data platform to the next level in our mission to soundtrack the world. You will be an integral part of leading and building a productive and autonomous team of data engineers and making sure the team reaches its goals. Your main responsibility is to help the team stay engaged and high-performing while delivering technically sound solutions. You will manage a team of 7 data engineers and support them in their growth and ensure everyone is connected to the goals and efforts of the company. You can expect to: Lead and shape a healthy and high-performing engineering team to develop high-quality solutions to our data platform. Work closely with the Product Manager to lead the team and define and implement product and technical strategies. Drive innovation and continuous improvement in collaboration, processes and engineering practices to increase productivity and quality. Support and develop the engineers through coaching and mentoring; by conducting regular 1:1s, setting development plans and feedback conversations. Promote transparency, facilitate information flow and align your team with the organization’s goals. Work with and contribute to the rest of the domain as well as the engineering management group on our processes, initiatives and long-term goals. Who you are To thrive in this role, we believe you have: Experience from a high-growth organization and the challenges involved in a rapidly scaling business. A burning interest for people and technical leadership - identifying and addressing issues with communication, performance, stakeholders, and technical complexity. Solid understanding of data platform solutions and modern data stacks in a cloud environment. Experience from leading data or analytics teams A pragmatic mindset and comfortable leading and facilitating technical discussions within and outside the team to drive technical decision making. Excited about collaborating with colleagues across the organization - from people within product, analytics and tech, to music, business, and marketing.
