Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join our dynamic team

What you will work on:

• Support global testing departments with data acquisition systems for function, performance, and feature verification and validation tests.
• Work within a team of experts to ensure internal customer requests are planned and delivered on time.
• Configure devices to capture the right signals from in-vehicle networks to acquire the necessary data.
• Participate in testing and verification of processes and products in various environments such as test rigs, proving grounds, and customer trucks.
• Collaborate with test leaders and engineers to provide the requested service and support.
• Conduct investigations and test-to-learn activities, as well as education and development of new methods in measurement technology.
• Work closely with suppliers in projects to update equipment and coordinate systems and tools for optimal usage with global teams.
• Interface with IT to ensure the appropriate development inputs are provided for data acquisition tools.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Experience with measurement technology, communication, sensors, and measurement systems such as Dewesoft, Ipetronik, and MX4.
• Knowledge of field vehicle buses like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and J1587, including their various protocols.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.
• Familiarity with tools like ATI Vision and CANalyzer.
• Experience with internal systems (considered a merit).
• Strong customer focus, understanding customer needs, and a willingness to provide effective solutions.
• Enthusiasm for technology and a keen interest in working on the future of transport solutions.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaborate effectively in a team.
