Bumper Systems – Let's Introduce Ourselves  At the department of Exterior Front and Rear, we believe that curiosity and genuine commitment to understanding people are the keys to future success. We are individuals who care about others, working together to create new technologies and innovations for safe, sustainable, and appealing exterior designs.  You will work in a creative environment at Exterior Front and rear with bumper system, where tomorrow's design is developed. We will support you to reach your full potential.  What you’ll do  You’ll be responsible for creating engineering design solutions used in new bumper system. You will have the opportunity to split your time between design engineering, project tasks and contribution in our way of working.   You’ll proactively take necessary actions to secure that the engineering design becomes successful. Product Design, surface appearance, attribute functions and manufacturing are some examples of important features.  Be a part of a Project Design Engineering team and contribute to the maturity of our components during the different project phases.  Collaborate with several stakeholders; Studio Engineers, Mechanical Integration and your interfaces to achieve the best-balanced solution of our bumper system.  Be part of design reviews of each other's models to secure quality and knowledge sharing.  Together with the team, keep our guidelines and WoW documents updated.  What you will bring  You are passionate about Design and challenged by searching and finding engineering solutions, to enable beautiful car design with superior quality. You are experienced in design engineering for plastic injection moulding using Catia v5 and have great ability to cooperate and communicate.  To thrive in this role, we believe you have at least:  B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent education  Documented experience of Catia V5  Knowledge in engineering design, manufacturing, mechanical joining and behaviour of materials  And it’s a plus if you have:  Knowledge in injection moulded and painted plastic design or understanding of injection moulding tools  Understanding of injection moulding tools  Experience in Catia advanced surface design  Experiences in Automotive industry  Experience from FMEA  We see you as someone who understands business value and have the ability to priorities accordingly.
