You will play a critical role in shaping our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. Your expertise in cloud technologies and best practices will continue to drive the successful adoption of cloud services within our organization. In this role, this is what you will be doing:  * Cloud Architecture Development: Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's technical, business and security requirements. Ensure the continued evolution of the architecture to support changing trends in application development, data management and identity & access management. Create diagrams, presentations and other documentation to illustrate designs, patterns and goals. * Roadmap and Backlog: Own the roadmap, ensure it is frequently updated and captures all relevant business, functional and non-functional requirements. Drive regular backlog grooming sessions with the team to ensure correct prioritisation of development and deliveries and break down tasks to allow good time planning. * Security and Compliance: Safeguard our data, implement security best-practices to protect cloud environments from threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with Volvo requirements as well as other industry regulations and standards. * Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Monitor resource utilization, identify bottlenecks, propose improvements and implement solutions to improve system performance. * Automation and Orchestration: Implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline deployment, provisioning, and management of cloud resources. Develop scripts and workflows for automated provisioning and configuration. * Relentless Improvement: Identify areas in the platform and services that could be improved and propose solutions to improve quality. Ensure needed policies and control mechanisms are defined and deployed to guarantee adherence to relevant requirements, design principles and best practices. * Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, cloud engineers, application developers, security teams and other architects to ensure alignment on cloud goals and deliveries. Regular communication with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose solutions and provide progress updates.
