At EQUA Group, we seek a pragmatic and analytical Business Development Manager to investigate and analyze the potential growth markets for EQUA Group’s established and new products and services. An essential outcome of your work is well-reasoned proposals, in which market to enter and how. Besides, your role will directly impact tackling global environmental challenges by enabling our customers to build and maintain more sustainable living. You will work closely with EQUA Group’s leadership team, product management, and global business units to jointly create and implement our growth strategy.

Your Mission

  • Deliver data, analysis, and recommendations about where, what, why and how EQUA Group could grow its business.

About the role

The Business Development Manager role at EQUA Group is a dynamic and multifaceted position central to our growth and innovation strategies. In this role, you will:

  • Conduct thorough market analyses and entry strategies across several geographical markets, including, but not limited to, the Nordics, Italy, France, Canada, and Singapore.
  • Provide essential contributions to our growth strategy and product management, encompassing our suite of products.

You’ll deliver in-depth data, analysis, and strategic recommendations to expand EQUA Group’s global business.

As the Business Development Manager, you'll also contribute to the project management of relevant projects, ensuring that each is guided to completion with precision and efficiency.

You will report directly to the Head of Product Management at EQUA Group, and you'll be in a position to:

    • Influence the direction and outcomes of our business development strategies.
    • From a three-year perspective, you can join EQUA Group Leadership and create and lead EQUA Group’s Business Development and Strategy function.

To succeed in this role,we believe you have:

  • 5+ years in relevant positions and/or businesses.
  • M.Sc. in Economics or Technology or an equivalent degree.
  • Experienced in business planning, related methodology and strategy work.
  • Experience in modern software business (e.g. SaaS)
  • Proven results from business development projects.
  • Fluent in English, with additional European languages as a plus.
  • We believe you are open-minded, social, a team player, analytical, and development-oriented.

It is a plus if you have:

  • Background from a consultancy company or Large Cap (strategy/business development function).
  • Domain knowledge, e.g. technology, market and business trends in the building industry and energy systems/efficiency.

Location

  • Sweden (Stockholm/Gothenburg region)
  • Possibility to travel (20-50 days per year)
