Position Description Our new member in the Business Controller team will have as an initial area of responsibility product quality including warranty.  In this position you will drive the global warranty follow up (standard and extended warranty, campaigns and TGW), analysis and estimates. You act as a business partner, connect other parts of organization with warranty matters and develop solutions to improve business performance.  Main activities and responsibilities: •    Collaborate with relevant leaders in BA Buses as well as speaking partners in Volvo Buses GBT and Volvo Buses central business controlling to accurately forecast costs and to ensure that budget targets are met. •    Collaboration with internal and external auditors. •    Support and challenge different parts of the organization to visualize, understand and optimize their contribution to our result. •    Anticipate future risks & opportunities and develop actions to mitigate the risks. •    Prepare closing and forecast reports, analysis, and presentation material together with colleagues in the Volvo Buses GBT Business Control team. You will be part of a team of six business controllers with different backgrounds and experiences. We build on each others strength and together we both learn, develop and support each other. Is this you? •    Master of Finance or equivalent in Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or Computer Science. •    Experience from business control function in a global matrix organization or experience from warranty process within Volvo •    Data-driven analytical skills, used to work with data models in Excel as well as Business Intelligence tools.  •    Ability to create innovative & illustrative visualizations, communicate the results of analysis, and explain deviations to senior stakeholders in both financial and non-financial audiences. •    Fluent in both written and spoken English. •    Preferably experienced in Volvo business. •    Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI (or other Business Intelligence tool) is a merit. •    Understanding of lean principles and structured problem-solving tools is a merit. •    Experience in developing business cases is also a merit.
