Job Description – Automotive Software Test Engineer

You will work on client projects as a Software Test Engineer within the automotive embedded SW and Electrical/Electronics (EE) development area. Some of your responsibilities shall include:

• Performing verification and validation tests in different environments such as test rigs (HIL), boxcars, and test vehicles.
• Design and execution of testcases to verify ECU SW functionalities.
• Analysis of network traffic/logs on various buses - CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet.
• Performing network and communication system tests.
• Performing function tests, vehicle management mode tests, and diagnostics tests.
• Reporting software issues and defects.
• Providing test support to other teams and suppliers.

Who are you

• You are skilled software test engineer with at least 3 years of work experience in the automotive embedded domain area.
• You have hands-on experience of testing on the boxcar, HIL rig, and test vehicle.
• You have strong skills in using automotive test tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.
• You have good knowledge and understanding of Unified Diagnostics Services (UDS).

• You have good knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, LIN, and Ethernet.
• You have good knowledge of the vehicle EE platform and network architecture.
• You are familiar with the AUTOSAR SW architecture.
• You have a diploma certificate or a university degree preferably in a business or technical subject area (IT/Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business/Management, or related). Other non-IT/non-Engineering academic disciplines (Law, Finance, etc) shall be considered if relevant skills/experience can be demonstrated.

Meritorious/Good to have

• Experience in CAPL script and Python programming.
• Car driving license and T1/T2 test driving license.
