Advanced Automation is now increasing our investment where we modernize the process industry with ABB 800xA, delivers automation solutions and lifecycle services across industries.

Engineering and delivering automation solutions from device to monitoring and control. Working with solutions to reduce maintenance and energy costs. Our engineering, project management, services portfolio covers a wide range of industries – pulp and paper, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, power production, metal and mining, water & wastewater and infrastructure, therefore we are looking for automation engineers with competence in ABB 800xA.

We are represented throughout the country and can therefore be flexible with location, you will become a team member of a really competent automation team with approx. 60 employees located on the west coast in Varberg and Gothenburg.

• Design and programming automations system for process applications
• Member of a team that designs and delivers automation solutions which includes devices, systems, service
• Helping customer develop application and HMI (Human Machine Interface ) standards
• Migration of AC450 to AC800M program with AFRY Quality Tool
• Perform all application and system testing, pre and Factory Acceptance Testing
• Assist with installation of control system at customer site
• Perform commissioning and Site acceptance testing
• Control tuning after Start up
• Follow ups with customer’s operators and staff
• Develop AFRY software tools to optimize engineering workflow
• Handle customer service-related issues while fostering the customer relationship and working to solve technical problems on site. Deal directly with and communicate effectively with plant operators and plant management
• Perform installations of hardware and software in several environments including Windows based servers with an emphasis on Windows 2016/2019/2022 server
• Establishing and configuring system networks comprised of servers, workstations, communication devices and peripheral equipment

Kravspecifikation

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, Computer Science or Software Engineer

Work experience:

• You have at least 5-7 years of experience and a strong interest in working with Control Systems, knowledge of 800xA, AC500, AC800M, and safety systems is advantageous
• Experience in performing control system electrical/infrastructure design, including networking, fieldbuses, I/O loop diagrams
• Very good communication and customer relationship skills
• Problem solving and goal oriented
• Wiliness to learn and accept new challenges
• Self-reliant and able to make decisions under pressure
• Communications skills in Swedish/English
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Merited work experience:

• Pulp and Paper process experience
• Experience of 800xA P&P Library
• Metal and mining process experience
• Experience of 800xA RMC Library
• Certified at System Health Check
• Certified at High Integrity / SIL programming
• Certified in Cyber security
• Strong IT / Microsoft Windows skills
• Knowledge of OS virtualization based on VMware or Citrix, MS; OPC, OPC/UA, ODBC
• Accomplished in Windows configuration and administration, operating system fundamentals and network components and infrastructure including networking hardware and basic networking theory
• industrial networks and Protocols- IEC61850, Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus & Profinet
• Experience in ABB Software – AC400 Advant Master Engineering
