About the jobWe are a small team of engaged and highly motivated people who are eager to support the Global Sourcing function at Alfa Laval. The job will include ownership and development of strategic sourcing tools and processes, training the sourcing community to use the tools and follow the processes, onboarding sourcing teams of newly acquired units, guiding the development of sourcing strategies, spreading best practices through networking.
Will you be the one to take the project manager role for this exciting and stimulating challenge in the Alfa Laval Global Sourcing team? The position is full time with base in Lund.
The role

Define training needs and act as expert for training
Work closely with global sourcing and local purchasing teams, and be able to think creatively about solutions, balancing the business needs with system capabilities.
Responsible for managing the Alfa Laval Approved Suppliers, ALAS database and supporting the Purchasing teams when questions or requests arise regarding the database
Acting as interface towards Corporate IT when driving sourcing related systems improvements projects
Driving the Sub Commodity strategy development process in cooperation with the Sub Commodity owners
Supporting the Handshake process between Global Purchasing and the Business Units

Who are you?

Experience from sourcing, procurement or supply chain in an international environment.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to define project scope, establish timelines, coordinate resources, communicate statuses, and manage the delivery of results
Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with different parts of the organization
Proven ability to balance multiple competing priorities
Strong networking skills, have the ability to influence stakeholders in different regions and parts of the organization
Enjoy conducting trainings and workshops, being the center of attention
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
