Your role will be to act as the Cognos BI expert in the Business Intelligence Service area at IKEA IT Delivery. You will be responsible for setting up guidelines for the Cognos BI design and development of Cognos reporting solutions done by our supplier. You will investigate, evaluate and recommend solutions and design and do prototyping and demos utilizing the Cognos BI tools for our stakeholders and work closely both with our stakeholders and our supplier. You know how best to utilize the different available Cognos components; Report Studio, Dashboards, PowerPlay Transformer, Query Studio and other data analysis tools.

Internally you will develop Cognos applications to monitor our running solutions in various ways; job execution, usage of our solutions, quality assurance etc.

Your role will be to act as the Data quality expert in the Business Intelligence Service area at IKEA IT Delivery. You will help secure a high degree of trust and confidence in our Business Intelligence solutions doing continuous quality improvement. You will be responsible for defining the Data quality program, setting up guidelines and principles. You will drive and secure the implementation of data quality initiatives delivering short term results as part of a long term roadmap.

You have deep knowledge of the different Data quality aspects: accuracy, completeness, Update status, relevance, consistency across data sources, reliability, appropriate presentation and accessibility.

Your overall responsibility will be to take leadership in translating business requirements to sustainable and deliverable IT Solutions. You will be a key player in the MHS team, with objective to create future IT portfolio for IKEA sales and logistic co-workers!

You make sure that the IT solutions follow agreed architecture and design, optimize the IKEA IT landscape and secure it is in line with IKEA long term plans and goals. You challenge expectations and show risks and possibilities and work proactively to create cost efficient solutions. You divide your time between projects and running services and you work in close cooperation with architects, vendors and service owners. You play an important role in the Lifecycle planning of the services in order to secure a long term and sustainable IKEA IT landscape.
